Zachary Paul Büchner (b. 1992) is an emerging composer and trumpeter based in the American Midwest. Drawing on a variety of music styles, Zac’s music makes subtle formal and harmonic shifts between Baroque, Romantic, and Contemporary styles.
Zac’s degrees include a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where he studied Trumpet under Dr. David Cooper and Organ under Dr. Thomas Taylor Dickey, and a Master of Music in Composition at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he studied under Dr. Tyler G. White.
